[Vincent] I have a small question, I am fixing the markup on my bookmarks. Does it make sense to use p-author with u-bookmark-of to show authorship. Or is the u-bookmark-of implying that explicitly?

Zegnat [Vincent]: a property always describes something of its parent h-*. So if you add p-author within an h-entry, you are marking that as the entry’s author

Zegnat Likely you want to list yourself as the author of the bookmark post, of the h-entry. So putting p-author on the external link does not make a lot of sense

I do wonder if there are probably more actual use cases and consumers of microformats for personal sites. @kevinmarks ↩️ Microformats were readily extensible, as they have been extended. Microformats 2 has a separation between parsing and vocabulary, which was a problem with microformats 1.
