#[dave]Any suggestions for what post type would be appropriate for a puzzle? When I post them, the format is 99% of the time a PDF with the puzzle graphics in it, and maybe 1% of the time a data file for loading into an app to solve the puzzle dynamically. There's a title and summary/description but the actual content is usually the PDF. Could puzzle (or game?) merit its own post type, or would it fit an existing one?
#[dave]Would a generic 'u-attachment' class make sense for those download links maybe?
#sknebelsounds like an idea. although one maybe could also consider the post to be about the file in that case, which could suggest using h-cite and the pdf as url or uid.
#sknebelthe top table (http://microformats.org/wiki/existing-rel-values#formats) references only HTML4 for now and points "proposed HTML5" values to a different table, but HTML5 includes (some of) those too and now defined the <form> case for them. I'd thus add a "effect on <form>" column to that top table too, and references to WHATWG in addition to the HTML4 references?
#sknebel[tantek] ^^^ (in case the [] are needed to trigger highlight, I forget if it needs that)
#[dave][sknebel] if it were just one file per post I'd think that h-cite could work, but often if I present a non-PDF version, there's usually a PDF as well. So the same content is available e.g. in PDF and IPUZ json, or PDF and PUZ, and the HTML page lists out the description, tags, and comments.
#[dave]After talking with gRegor, the original hevent had an 'attach' property, and Wordpress does rel="attachment", so I'm going to use rel="attachment" and "u-attach" and give it a whirl
