I use categories for my other languages, so I can set the site language for them on category overview pages and single post pages (as Google does take into account declared site language, but exceptions apply). I added translation links to non-English postings in my RSS feeds (autotranslate runs into Google’s wrong assumptions again, so I set explicit source and target language links) See
