Seirdy basically i find mf2 to "feel" more "HTML-native" than RDF-based approaches (RDFa/Microdata/JSON-LD), which makes it less powerful but more comfy. i think it's a worthwhile good tradeoff.

gRegor I share some of the confusion with rel-alternate, corlaez. Strictly speaking I think it's only supposed to link an alternate of the current page. In practice I think it's fairly common to link to multiple different feeds on the homepage that are not alternates of the current page. Feed readers support it just fine, showing multiple options to subscribe to.

corlaez thanks gRegor, yeah that's definitly what the wiki suggested but appreciate the confirmation. And I agree alternate for extra feeds doesnt sound right

gRegor In practice it's not being verified by readers or other consumers, so it's really about what UX you want when people enter example.com in a subscribe box.
