jkingweb Yeah, technically you're supposed to serialize per the HTML spec so having slashes would be a failure, but at the same time it _is_ trivial, since it parses back into the same thing. Normalizing it this way helps the Elixir parser to pass three tests it wouldn't otherwise pass, which helps to get a better idea of where implementations agree.
