ShaneHudsonIt seems that I have a new schedule for Tuesdays that I must stick to, I will still be able to make most of the telecons but will probably be a few minutes late

tantekwhat is their deployment / update strategy? i.e. is Heroku pulling actively from rstatus trunk on github or taking tagged versions or something else?
wilkieheroku *says* they want to have an update button. heroku would pull from http 'referal' (I always have to quote that heh) I believe, which is interesting. you could in theory deploy from any fork that way.
wilkieI believe code updates are a problem, unless heroku comes up with a strategy. I wonder if it could be solved in the app somehow. but I'm also hoping other hosting services will start accepting their 'app.json' standard.
tantekwilkie - does that mean if a Heroku user deploys rstatus they get the "latest" version, but frozen? i.e. no automatic updates for security fixes etc.?
wilkietantek: yes that's basically true. you'd have to manually do it. the idea of an app on a PaaS like heroku, which has no local storage persistence, being able to auto-update is intriging.
wilkieI'm not very familiar with wordpress, but no. rstatus doesn't even import from twitter mostly because only *relatively* recently has twitter had a standard export.
