tantek Aside: just figured out in the CSS WG, that the 2016-12-06 is the hard deadline to put in a CR transition request for a CR transition call 2016-12-13 (which depends on schedules) which if successful would allow for CR staging on Wednesday 2016-12-14, which if it validates would allow publication 2016-12-15, the last possible day for that (Thursday) before the explicit publication moratorium 2016-12-19.
