All I care is to see a social change within the sw/ld/webscience community (for starters) so that we can "have nice things". The Linked Research initiative is primarily intended to encourage/enable researchers to take on some responsibility and consider the implications of their contributions. Some emphasis on accessibility, decentralisation,
