I get this might not excite some in the group but there is lots of experience with these in the federated social web and it would basically solve what LDS

All 3 methods can live along-side each other and now I am of the opinion that the spec should not mandate any one method. It's fine if some sigs do federate. Software that supports all 3 will have the best UI.

I'm really only worried about verifying authors while solving all the use cases. It would be bad if developers feel they must accept content without verifying it because there is no common way payloads are delivered :) But I realize the difficulties, just wanting to ensure all options are not investigated.

I certainly would reject any content I can't verify - otherwise I'm making software that allows anyone to spoof anyone :P
