jaywink cwebber2: did you have time to read this? https://github.com/w3c/activitypub/issues/203#issuecomment-316266171 .. maybe if LD sigs are going to not happen (due to complexity of the spec), it might be worth at least considering Salmon Magic Envelopes? I get this might not excite some in the group but there is lots of experience with these in the federated social web and it would basically solve what LDS
