melody and that's not really an absurd use case, there are people for whom images inlined directly into text content are distracting but who are fine with seeing image posts and images in the UI, or who need a larger font size and the <img> tags won't grow the image to the full line height and they'll be ugly, the text fallback might be the most pleasant user experience
