melody so basically -- if activitpub is flexible enough for what i need to do, even if i never do federation and none of my stuff works with anyone else's stuff because i have too many custom extensions and my junk's all weird, i'm okay with that on a personal level, i'm interested in not starting from zero on designing the client-to-server and server-to-server communication (if i decide to do the latter)
