[tantek] basically I treat such posts as (1) an opportunity to mine them for actual nuggets of critical insight (which can come from anyone, especially from a broad variety of perspectives, like bug reports), (2) an opportunity to engage with kindness a la the cliché to provide at least a snippet of a real-world first person counter-example to any (perceived) negativity
