[apatters] WP's plugin loader is OK, but I think the Getting Started screen as is presents an onboarding barrier - it's too much to read. If the plugins can be presented immediately on that page with a little less exposition, more people will install them. Also dlineating between plugins you have to install versus ones that are optional could help with the dependencies issue -- if it's not easy to solve in code, if you can just get everyone to ins
