[miklb] I don’t think there’s anything precluding you from putting your note in an H1 and styling the display (font-size for instance) to suit your theme if you are concerned with that. That said, I don’t believe it’s an issue that has come up. I would suggest asking around in the main channel (#indieweb) how others have approached it. I’ve not heard of anyone negatively being impacted by the lack of an H1 on notes however.
