rmk2 you have to AllowOverride Limit instead of FileInfo for the akismet folder. Don't know why it's a problem with webmention but it is!

[miklb] glad you figured that out. I do not use Akismet so hadn’t experienced that before. I also use nginx so my .htaccess is rusty ?

[mrkrndvs] Does anyone have any thoughts or advice in debugging why webmentions, pingbacks etc are not working. I am finding mentions on the web that are not even flowing through to my spam folder
