[schmarty] i will make a test wordpress on a non-http domain and get it fixed. this is exactly the kind of stuff that is easy to do wrong with indieauth and needs to be wrapped up by a good library.

xolotl Thanks for your help GWG! Turns out I must have had a very stripped down PHP on my server as I had to install php-mbstring and php-xml. After than, all was working as expected.

So lets start with my first basic question - my setup is that I have a number of wordpress sites (as sub-domains). For example mostrom.eu, blog.mostrom.eu, snack.mostrom.eu, notes.mostrom.eu, etc., how should I think about these sites? Should one be the one I use for identification (mostrom.eu), if so how should the others be marked? Should I just use the indie

[mrkrndvs] Found the culprit: Settings > Reading > "For each article in a feed, show" was marked as 'Summary'. To display all the information associated with post kinds it needs to be marked as 'Full Text'
