sknebel oh, another thing to the list above: c) a bunch of hooks/filters appear to be used in multiple contexts and would be useful to inject markup, but only in one of these contexts. e.g. theres a hook for a commenter name/url which one of the plugin uses to add mf2 to those, but that means that suddenly the "recent comments" widget also contains those properties
