GWG What do you mean by 'prompt new page'?

GWG tantek, the homepage of WordPress isn't a page, and comments must be attached to a page. It was meant to store them for better use. You could have a 'private' page storing them.

GWG The whole thing wasn't ideal, but better than rejecting them

GWG I leave most of mine in moderation because I haven't figured out what to do with them

[jgmac1106] I don't know if you can get that kind of functionality in a WP plugin set up to make a new page...but I will make mine, I am sure Chris already has his, we should document a few examples on semantic plugin page

GWG I think doing something different with tagging is a good start

[jgmac1106] Like being able to set mentions, likes, replies, etc? Part of the reason I made that avatar counter.....to keep the facepiles from piling

[jgmac1106] but if we could let people change the word reply to say shout-outs, likes to loves, basically a form field next to reply, like, mention, share where a user could change name
