#GWGIndigenous supports posting photos and supports adding location to a post
#GWGSimple Location supports adding location to an attachment from the attachment metadata, but not copying that to the parent post yet.
#GWGPost Kinds 3.1.0 moves to store media citations in the attachment data.

#GWGMy ideal workflow is that I take a picture and post it to my site and it takes either the coordinates embedded in the photo or the passed along location, and enhances it with a textual description and a map
#GWGjackjamieson, I didn't forget about rss in Parse This
#jackjamiesonGWG: Nice, it seems like you've been getting a lot done recently

#jackjamiesonGWG: Actually that reminds me that I've been getting errors with some rss feeds in Yarns. I'll add an issue to Yarns. Hopefully you don't have the same problem but may as well document it
#GWGI was going to start with bringing your code over
#GWGAlthough you use file_get_contents which isn't recommended in WordPress
#jackjamiesonYeah, I've been meaning to change that but haven't done so yet. I can probably do that now
#GWGI only mentioned it as a change I'd make if. I added feed discovery
#jackjamiesonWhere are you working on location? Micropub?
#GWGjackjamieson, Simple Location is my location plugin for WordPress. I have to make some emergency fixes, but while I am, I want to have it autotrigger on Micropub publish.
#GWGSince I got Indigenous for Android to send coordinates
#GWGIt is the thing that displays maps for posts and generates a location name and local weather conditions
#jackjamiesonNice, I've looked at Simple Location, but haven't used it much since I don't typically geotag my posts. But it'd be great to have the option when posting from Indigenous
#GWGI want it to have the option of always storing it, even if it isn't displayed
#jackjamiesonFor personal reference? Or just to have the option to display the location later? If the former, how about an option to display only for logged in users?
#jackjamiesonAh, that's a great idea. I can imagine it might be nice to post location while travelling, but plenty of people may not want to post their home location

#[Khurt]That would be my ideal workflows as well. Currently using Keyring Social Importers plugin to pull in your location and image content from Swarm check-ins. However, that plugin was last updated about 2 years ago.
