I could have sworn I'd solved it before, but now I can't find the solution. I'm trying to create a WP URL with query parameters like http://example.com/?cat=6&tag=books, but I'd like to have it find both cat 6 and/or tag=books instead of just AND.

Anyone have ideas?

[jgmac1106]: re getting x% with IP2, is that the Automattic managed theme? Any special fixes that we could file as a PR on the theme to bumb the percentage?
#
jgmac1106
they will not do it,
#
jgmac1106
there is zero return in spending any energy trying to get Automattic to strip mf and add mf2

[pfefferle]
even more, they removed the mf2 and schema.org extensions from SemPress before they used it for WordPress.com

[dshanske] and [pfefferle] how hard is it to add mf2 to any theme?
#
[pfefferle]
Not that Hard
#
[pfefferle]
You can steal from sempress if you want
#
[xavierroy]
I mean wouldn't the mf2 plugin help us do that
#
[pfefferle]
Hmmm, better you steal from a theme
#
[xavierroy]
For someone new to indieweb, it is a dearth of choice of themes
#
[xavierroy]
With yours and David's being the only options, it leads to the same situation when Kubrick was the default theme for WP

[xavierroy]
Or Bootstrap now.

GWG is working on some more themes atm.

I have an Independent Publisher fork that will have the IP and IP2 stylesheets baked in

Wouldn't mind some PRs at some point

Dave if you publish that as a blog post I can send it out to the WordPress crowd in the edu spaces that are eager to figure this stuff out, maybe we draw in someone

What is IndieWeb Publisher?
#
Loqi
IndieWeb Publisher is an open source fork of the responsive Independent Publisher theme for WordPress that streamlines its code and adds some additional IndieWeb friendly functionality to the original semantic theme https://indieweb.org/IndieWeb_Publisher

GWG++ for his kindhearted dedication.

GWG has 75 karma in this channel over the last year (160 in all channels)

I'm thinking of creating a child theme (and porting over a few customizations) and installing IndieWeb Publisher this weekend to begin dogfooding it.

[xavierroy] Thanks for the suggestion, but I've tried the comma with a variety of variations on tag first or cat first and none of them seems to give the correct output for some reason.
#
[chrisaldrich]
I know that /kind/eat,drink works properly and I've used that before, but for some reason mixing categories and tags in WordPress URLs doesn't seem to give the correct output
#
[chrisaldrich]
for some reason when using tag="X" the X needs to be the 'word' and not the ID number, but I can't seem to get the right output for BOTH/AND
