#[kimberlyhirsh]Good afternoon, IndieWeb! I just used u-in-reply-to in a WP comment for the first time to reply to someone's micro.blog reply to my note originally posted on my site. Everything worked beautifully and my reply appeared immediately on micro.blog. This truly feels like magic. Thanks pfefferle & GWG for the plugin and chrisaldrich for the clear explanation of how to make this happen!
#Loqi[kimberlyhirsh] Because I was a child when it started, I just started watching 90210 for the first time and Iām baffled that AO3 only has ONE Brandon Walsh/Dylan McKay story. Baffled, I say! What even are you, Internet?
#[kimberlyhirsh]The in-reply-to link is just an @ mention because it's all there in the comments on my site.

#[tantek]wow that's an interesting collapsing of the reply permalink into a comment fragment on your own post!
#[tantek]I don't know anyone else who is doing that!
#sknebeljI think that's a feature of the WP plugins
#GWG[tantek]: We were surprised when that worked in the wild
#GWGI remember chrisaldrich did a post on it the first time he realized it
#[kimberlyhirsh]I think chrisaldrich does it somewhat regularly. I hadn't tried it before because most of my commenters are replying on my site rather than sending a webmention, but I figured since this one came from micro.blog it would actually work.
