GWG Micro.blog uses an rss or JSONFeed to scrape your site

GWG Syndication Links creates a custom feed with only the posts you select, at a hidden URL, that you put into the micro.blog settings

GWG No. But if there are no listed providers, it means something isn't populating the list, and therefore enabling the providers including the Micro.blog one
