[arush] @GWG If you've got some time, I have a Simple Location usage question regarding Metiostat. Specifically, is it possible for us to use that to retrieve historical weather data, and if so, how do we do that?

GWG [arush]: Easy...set the publish date to a past date and the weather returned will be for that date

[arush] OK, but I'm assuming you can't update an imported post and get it to retrieve for that date??

[arush] Could I, for example, hit "edit date and time" instead of "update" after setting M. as provider and retrieve that way?

GWG [arush]: You can edit date and time, then hit the search for Weather/Location in the sidebar

[arush] @gwg Is that the button that says "lookup" after you expand the location? Clicking that and no weather data is being retrieved for the date published.

GWG Me too... but they offer historical data and I still have an API key

GWG Visual Crossing is appealing because they offer historic and after the free tier..the usage rates aren't an insane amount

GWG I used Dark Sky to add weather to all my old posts in one go
