[Tim_Nolte] [snarfed] in reply to your question about writing my own plugin vs using ActivityPub and/or Friends. I'm not looking to replace the ActivityPub plugin but add a plugin to at the very least hook into the ActivityPub plugin but provide the missing elements needed for a WordPress site to act/respond like a Mastodon instance so that you can use a Mastodon app, like Tusky for example, with your WordPress site.
