tnbd Heya, curious to know if there's any block themes for WordPress that would have Microformats support in them that would allow me to use some of WordPress' native embedding capabilities? Seems forom trial & error that SemPress is geared more towards the classiceditor rather than the block editor.

[snarfed] ...but tnbd it's a valid point, we badly need a better way to render mf2 in blocks, modern themes, etc

[snarfed] my own site currently uses the uf2 plugin, which is old and abandoned, plus a bunch of hacky overrides in a custom functions.php. not sustainable

[snarfed] this goes hand in hand with needing a real usable way to store structured mf2 data in the db, as opposed to storing rendered mf2 in post text content, which we do now. we've wanted to fix that forever, GWG may finally be working on it now or soon?

[TMichelleMoore] Block editor - I agree! I have been trying to add classes on groups (divs) or individual items. It mostly works but it would be nice if it automatically was there without me thinking about it.

cambridgeport90 Funny. I come in here...and the topic is already focused on the question I had...which was what configuration are folks using most often nowadays? Because I'm going to set up the WP iteration of my site once again, and I wanted to try and block editor/site builder, though wasn't sure how compatible the plugins are.

GWG I know we have a lot of classic people including myself... I'm not against trying to figure out how to get things to work for those who want to do blocks.. I just hate coding JavaScript
