#Loqiaaronpk: in verify_link.json, don't actually go fetch all the rel=me links on the domain, just look for the one profile we're checking for. Saves a bunch of HTTP requests when verifying.
#Loqiaaronpk: stub method for "verify" which only allows tokens to be used once
#Loqiaaronpk: really fixes redirect loops and also speeds up checking by stopping earlier. fixes #19. also drops a bunch of old code that wasn't used anymore.
#tantek.comedited /site-deaths (+1313) "fix dates to use ISO8601, check past "upcoming" site deaths and move to past accordingly, note (citation needed) for a bunch of reported site-deaths without substantiating URLs" (view diff)
#tantekit's both a mult-reply example, and an example of part of note replying to two URLs, and another part replying to a 3rd URL
#tantekso this is similar to I think the example that sandeep gave a while ago about a blog post where different paragraphs reply to different other URLs - does anyone remember that?
#tantekfor now I'll probably just display it as a multireply, but I'd like to come up with some way to display inline reply-contexts too
#neuro`Another reason to use the (foo.bar something) convention is that Twitter does not count "exotic" TLDs as domain name per se unless you actually add the protocol. So here we get 15 VS 21 characters, which is not so bad when you're limited to 140.
#aaronparecki.comedited /App.net (+1156) "/* POSSE to ADN */ added info about app.net's new Pourover project and added info about the "crosspost" annotation" (view diff)
#neuro`What do you think about the self hosting (that implies some sysadmin skills and lot of maintainance) VS pushing content hosting plattforms to have a fully open API so users can get their data back when they want?

#neuro`As a sysadmin, I'm always freaked out by the idea of millions people running a never updated / monitored VM with a sometimes updated Wordpress on it.
#aaronpkdreamhost has been doing a good job of being aggressive about getting people to update their wordpress
#neuro`Because even though they may have the basic Linux skills to upgrade / update their kernel / PHP version / whatever, they usually lack the knowledge of knowing that they got pwned
#neuro`With wordpress powering ~ 15% of the Web now, the idea of another Wordpress worm is more than scary.
