I tried the <meta http-equiv=status content='410 Gone'> trick but it didn't work. Configuring nginx to return 410 just for this seems too much of a hack and I also can't find how to do this. I would like implementation algorithm documentation to be included for a webmention

acti-link I also tried webmention.herokuapp.com but I wasn't able to set it up correctly. I chose it first because of the CORS feature. I was able to set up webmention.io using the JSONP feature. Now I still have to figure out a few things like deletion, and how to take the JavaScript from the body of my pages into a <script src=...> tag in head. Also I can't get the author name I want using webmention.io.
