GWG I set up my syndicate-to link in micropub endpoint to bridgy and then when my site publishes it parses that metadata and sends the webmention

oh, I misread, you want the micropub endpoint to send the webmention.

Do we have a listing of services that have taken down the content of only some users? So not the deadpool. There's another exhibit to add... http://fusion.net/story/325231/google-deletes-dennis-cooper-blog/

I do feel to be the odd one out here many times; I'd prefer a car with just the absolutely neccessary electronics in there
#
petermolnar
and appliences without the need of electricity :D
#
petermolnar
but I get the scientific interest you get, GWG & aaronpk
#
GWG
petermolnar: What is absolutely necessary electronics in a car?
#
GWG
For me, I bring my phone in.
#
GWG
So, I could do without a radio. Just some speakers.
#
GWG
And the Android Auto/Apple(what was the name of their car product) that adds a screen for your phone to control may be overkill.
#
GWG
The Automatic I got on sale during Amazon's 'Prime Day' is just a bluetooth device that hooks onto the car's diagnostic report and sends info to your phone
#
petermolnar
re: "absolutely necessary electronics in a car" ignition, lamps, wipes, security ( so airbags, ABS and the rest). Cruise control is questionable, but handy. This means everyday cars from ~2008 are in my opinion have approximately enough automation and electronics in them.

My parents have insisted, in their older age, to add blind spot detection...which I have to admit is a great feature

fuel consumption is a thing in Europe, aaronpk :)
#
aaronpk
i prefer large windows and good design that makes visibility better over a rear camera
#
petermolnar
radars & camera are fine, but I have seen a 2014 Mercedes driver relying on them and bumping into a parking car
#
aaronpk
this is getting very #indiechat quickly :)
#
[kevinmarks]
If the car screen could just be my phone UI and not a separate shitty reimplentation of maps and music and voice controls that would be good.
#
aaronpk
on a more indieweb note, i did keep fuel logs for my volvo, and would have enjoyed having that happen automatically instead https://aaronparecki.com/gas-mileage/
#
petermolnar
[kevinmarks] you're not in either $chat channels, but there was some kind of a camera in the news a few days ago which you'd install around the rear plate and it streams to your smartphone; I can't recall the name though

aaronpk, does the UID used for syndication in micropub have to be a profile URL?

no, it's totally up to the micropub endpoint to decide what that is
