aaronpk i've just been putting my phone number in each time, which I later learned has some other unfortunate consequences

aaronpk twitter sends out emails to people saying "Your friend ____ is now on twitter!" presumably to people who have my phone number in their address book. so some friends have been getting a bunch of these alerts each time i make a new twitter account and verify it.
