petermolnar about facepiles... is anyone only caching avatars and regularly reloads them? I believe that circumvents gdpr issues, given (reasonable) caching is fine

petermolnar so when the avatar is gone, it will purge automatically

Zegnat petermolnar, I think aaronpk specifically caches them so they always show the version as it was at the time it came in. E.g. older comments will show older photographs. But I may be misremembering.
