It'd be awesome if someone created one or more TLDs whose entire function was to be guaranteed cheap forever.

Like, $0.99/year.

What is MyData?

It looks like we don't have a page for "MyData" yet. Would you like to create it? (Or just say "MyData is ____", a sentence describing the term)

What is own your data?
#
Loqi
own your data is one of the principles of the IndieWeb and is an encouragement to always post content directly to your own domain with permalinks that you control instead of posting to silos (or only posting copies of your posts to silos per POSSE, and if so, preferably both automatically & with permashortlinks back to your original posts) https://indieweb.org/own_your_data

Man, CoreData can be a pain! CoreData funkiness is currently the biggest thing holding back me getting the next beta of Indigenous for iOS out. Hopefully I can fix it soon so it doesn’t hold up 1.0 for the IndieWeb Summit 😞

The biggest tip off is that this was a user joining the channel and writing something. All actual server communication is done through notices. We had some global Freenode notices just the other day when they were rebooting ChanServ/NickServ/etc.

Ah. Well, it kind of zipped by quickly as I scanned the logs, so I didn't pay too much attention.

↩️ IMHO there are 3 categories: 1. pure tracking protection tools (Privacy Badger, Disconnect) 2. ad+tracker blockers (uBlock Origin) 3. adtech-driven blockers with paid whitelisting (Google-supported Adblock Plus) Put Better in category 1 because it allows non-tracking ads?
