jgmac1106_ I joined the w3c credibilty working group, from reading the notes to date looks like development of #LinkedData vocabulary to encourage machine learning for a credibility rating. A community defines credibility not sure we will find the solution in metadata, but will lurk to learn more about the topic

benwerd Haberman's access journalism also deserves serious criticism for its shortcomings, which she's rightfully received an onslaught of - obviously trolling and harassment don't have a place on any civil platform, but public figures should expect criticism in numbers. That piece doesn't in any way acknowledge any of those criticisms.

tantek__ on any given Haberman tweet there are tons of fake accounts replying, pretty easy to detect. usernames with big numbers, fake/cartoon avatars, ESL spelling/grammar errors

tantek__ and even that is frankly whackamole. I'm not convinced Twitter is doing any serverside analysis of what IP addresses were used to create abusive accounts etc and proactively look for patterns and shut them down
