kisik21 I think that it should totally work! If you have a server-side script that serves a random avatar you could already have that.

kisik21 With cached avatars in facepiles it would display a different one in each facepile. With direct avatar embedding, you could see a new avatar on every refresh!

kisik21 what if you make your avatar url the same, just change the content? It should remain compatible, not break already existing urls and be flexible enough to do stuff with it
