jeremycherfas If I finish this bit of paid work. I spent a couple of hours yesterday playing with my geodata, and managed to bind a popup to a map marker. Today I would like to see whether I can improve the presentation of the marker and, more important, the contents of the popup.

Zegnat Not without knowing what you are working with. But it sometimes helps to break stuff out rather than writing it all nested.

[tantek] brainstorm while away: a few good reasons to promptly post about positive things - looking for feedback (before I post / wiki these as brainstorms)

[tantek] 1. positive self-affirmation to reinforce positive behaviors/habits more strongly after having finished something;

[tantek] 2. timely relevance leverages recency bias;
#
[tantek] 3. sooner domino/compounding effect - the sooner you post something positive, the sooner others may see and be inspired by your example to do positive things, and inspire others etc.;
#
[tantek] 4. get ahead of future negative press/circumstances - get your positive post published and out there before something bad happens in the future that you'll either have to deal with instead, or will make provide a bad/poor temporal context for your otherwise positive post.
