LoqiIt looks like we don't have a page for "reminder" yet. Would you like to create it? (Or just say "reminder is ____", a sentence describing the term)
Ruxtonit'll be my 3rd official year of indiewebbing in 2 week, but as I looked at that first post.. I find a good 2 years worth of post kinds not showing right :(

LoqiPixelFed is open source software for social image sharing, similar to Instagram, that interoperates with other sites using several open standards including rel-me and ActivityPub https://indieweb.org/PixelFed
chrisaldrichjeremycherfas, I saw some articles about a potential new interface a few months back. Heard nothing since until I got it two days ago. Perhaps they're still testing and rolling out slowly?
ZegnatLast I was anywhere close to automation based off of email it was macros and visual basic on ms servers, which I would not touch again without a hazmat suit
[tantek]Mikaela, I only use Instagram as for POSSE, and only that because people I know follow me there. Since I have zero presence on Pixelfed, posting there now wouldn't help anyone see me who is presumably already following my website where I post the higher quality / dimensions versions of my photos
[tantek]I'm curious, do you use Pixelfed and if so, what was your motivation to do so, and is it in addition to your personal site, or do you use Pixelfed for your primary photo hosting/posting?
[tantek]presumably you could do it by giving an app like Bridgy permission to read *some* of your email, like IDK if it is possible to request / provide permission for a 3rd party app to only see one particular folder of your Gmail, and then you could simply autofile everything from FB there
jalcineI've used PixelFed to share images in a more 'curated' fashion into the fediverse. I'm thinking about redoing some theme logic on my site to post it solely from there tho
aaronpkYeah I don't know why I would want a pixelfed account, sounds like another thing to maintain when people can already follow my photos from my website. Which you should even be able to follow if you have a pixelfed account, tho I haven't confirmed if that actually works yet
