petermolnar asia (in this context I know about Japan and China) has a _very_ different evolution of online presence, and thus personal websites are extremely rare

petermolnar I'd love to see more, but in China, you need multiple licenses to make a website, whereas Japan went heavily feature phone mobile ~15 years ago

petermolnar the group made the translation were Koreans and I have no knowledge of Korean internet
