vika_nezrimayaActually my blog posts suffered a bit of a worse fate. The HDD is hopefully alive, but I literally can't connect it to anything. There is no spare SATA ports or cables
[Ramiro_Ruiz]I’m looking for ways to host short videos as I started to own my instagram content and I tend to post videos every once in a while. Is a standard practice to include the mp4 or use something like YouTube? The videos already are on my iCloud, I haven’t seen many Indieweb websites with video content that’s why I’m asking to know some good practices.
[Ramiro_Ruiz]Yes thank you [snarfed] that’s what I wanted to know if it was good just be simple like that. I searched for video on the indieweb site I don’t know why I didn’t get any page results, probably a typo mistake.
aaronpkTrying something new ... I stuck an NFC tag on the back of my conference badge and set the url to a new page I just made: https://aaronparecki.com/profile/
petermolnarhuh, "powered by nikola". I considered nikola before doing my own static generator, I can't exactly remember why I thrown it away as an option.
jeremycherfas[jgmac1106] That "theme" is extremely cool. I have many versions of it hanging about here, all of which feel just a bit too overblown for my work persona, which is what I want to use it for.
[fluffy]A friend pointed me to this modern remake of Firefox live bookmarks. Seems like it might be worth seeing if they’d consider adding h-feed, micropub, etc. https://fraidyc.at
[fluffy]Is Kicks Condor active in IndieWeb chat at all? I know they’re very active in IndieWeb stuff in general but I’ve only knowingly interacted via webmention.
[fluffy]Actually come to think of it Fraidycat probably isn’t the right place for micropub to go. That would be better served by a separate browser extension.
[chrisaldrich][tonz] It was so late when I stopped by Boelter 3420 that the room was locked. I'm by there reasonably frequently, so I'll swing in and grab a photo for you if I can.
[tonz][chrisaldrich] that would be awesome, a great addition to publicly available internet history to have that image available for re-use in the public domain.
LoqiIndieWeb friendly refers to online services interoperating well with the indieweb by supporting open indieweb formats, protocols, as well as enabling users to transition to their own indieweb sites https://indieweb.org/friendly
LoqiIt looks like we don't have a page for "IndieWeb centric" yet. Would you like to create it? (Or just say "IndieWeb centric is ____", a sentence describing the term)
