[calumryan]An email has been sent out today regarding IndieWebCamp London to everyone registered regarding our COVID-19 preparations. If you are attending but haven’t received this email please let me know as it includes some important information you may need to be aware of prior to attending
[g33kcentric]Do any of the talks get recorded? I would have loved to have come, but its my three monthly obligation to go visit my parents this weekend!
[jgmac1106]while under 50 is pretty safe and kids alomst 10% is more a threat of being a carrier for vulnerable populations, will be fine since we localise our events as much as possible
KopsiSince the security depends so much on configuration and implementation of the unique instance I kinda wanted to survey the core components. Of course there are always vulnerabilities through misconfigurations, but I was more interested in "unknown" vulns in said core components. I'm just starting to familiarize myself with the architecture of IndieWeb and its components, so that's propably going to be my starting point.
[snarfed]Kopsi: if you're looking for things to security/privacy audit, i'd love one on https://brid.gy/ ! it's one of the largest and most widely used indieweb services (and includes another big one, https://granary.io/ ), and it uses webmention and the mf2py parser, two other core protocols/components
jboveYes, it doesn't look very food here either. It was just announced that all events with more than 1000 people are forbidding. Worried about the next Beyond Tellerrand event here.
[tantek]wondering if Loqi can mute duplicates from the IRC/Slack bridge (exact same string > 2 chars said by the exact same person within seconds right after themselves - no intervening posts)
aaronpkhuh, apparently i've been bad at putting my conference talks on my website lately. there's nothing there from 2019 or 2018 even tho i did a bunch
