Zegnat It is not weird that we have the same debates as them, it is all web content at the end of the day. We just might come to different conclusions on how something is best solved.

Zegnat The AMP one is actually pretty good in that it tries to offer media publishers a standardised way to do a paywall, that will allow Google to get by the paywall and still index your content.

Zegnat That surprises me. I was recently talking with some teacher friends of mine and they were having trouble getting students to share or send documents to them because they did not know how to use those features.

[Mat_Rosero] hmmm… well, very recently I added a space to translate to spanish (I’m Costa Rica but it’s always been in english), so in practical terms, shoudl translate everything I have there. I also would like have better content on there, but I fall victim to the “someone else has probably already said this and better” mentality

[manton] [Mat_Rosero] My 2 cents: having multiple sites can be useful, but it’s often easier to have a single blog where “most posts” go. I’ve noticed that when someone has multiple blogs, there’s a new kind of friction in the writing process just figuring out where to post something. This is why I personally post almost everything on my personal blog, whether that’s related to work or a TV show or posting photos.

[manton] If you do have multiple blogs, I think it helps to have a very clear focus for each one. Some people like splitting out things like a photo blog separately, for example.
