GWG: wordpress question ^
#
GWG
digiSal: How did you set it up to go to Twitter?
#
digiSal
bridgy
#
digiSal
and the Syndication Links plugin
#
GWG
So, you did register bridgy with your twitter account?
#
digiSal
yes. it works when i select the post as a note, but not as an article.
#
GWG
Interesting...did you check the bridgy logs on brid.gy ?
#
digiSal
ah i shouldve checked the log when it didnt work. the only log i see now is the one that worked. i think.
#
GWG
Strange..it should work. You can manually post the article and see what happens
#
digiSal
i will look closer at logs next time. thank you
#
digiSal
i was thinking there was a setting somewhere to only post notes
#
GWG
No. Never built one of those
#
digiSal
ok thank you!

re digital gardens, especially https://joelhooks.com/digital-garden: "If I had thousands of posts that might be a problem". Indeed, but not just for pure CPU/memory reasons: while I honestly want to re-embrace the idea of manual curating, I simply don't have the willpower to go through literal hundreds of entries by hand at the moment.

that's something I keep thinking about with bookmarks etc
#
sknebel
i.e. I think it makes sense to have some storage per-bookmark, but really they are relevant in context of a larger piece of knowledge

there might be an alternative way to approach it though: start small, but always offer a "search the 'uncataloged' rest"
