I ahve not tried yet but I will work towards getting the IndieWeb auth server running on it (https://observablehq.com/@endpointservices/auth)
#

in general these serverless cells work by scraping code from a URL. Not unlike how RelMeAuth works. I wonder if there is a h-card for embedded code? So you can jsut scatter your source code all over the web and have endpoints dynamically read it. IndieCode

What would you label about it? Are there existing patterns for this? Is it different from, say npm or gists?
#
Loqi
npm, method... that's a lot of dev jargon! can you move to #indieweb-dev?
#
Loqi
ok, I added "https://doctorow.medium.com/the-memex-method-238c71f2fb46" to the "See Also" section of /commonplace_book https://indieweb.org/wiki/index.php?diff=75679&oldid=75663

I guess <code> and "id" are probably all you need, maybe a language hint but we have shebangs which might work too

Mac users: there’s no entry-level WYSIWYG webpage editor for Mac anymore, right? Everything is either a CMS/web app (like WordPress or Squarespace) or a high-end editing environment (like DreamWeaver)?

tomlarkworthy, I've been watching some of your work for a bit, but I'm curious if you've gotten far enough that I could use my own domain name to log into the https://observablehq.com/ service yet?

The Cory Doctorow article above also has some good reasons for why to keep an /on_this_day functionality for one's website.

Yes, worth citing there too

This feature should be in all readers. I've always appreciated Fraidycat for this sort of ability... https://twitter.com/b0rk/status/1393199239640010754?s=20

@b0rk
i recently started using an RSS reader (newsblur) that automatically sorts my RSS feeds into "updates infrequently" and "everything" and it's a lifesaver, now I'm not drowning in posts from blogs that update every day and I can keep up with the more infrequent sites

[KevinMarks]
That's smart. I kind of do that by hand, but I don't always guess right

Yeah that’s definitely a thing I was going to put into Subl, also having per-channel sort options (so eg comics are always oldest-first) and also I’m always thinking of ways to mix and match oldest and newest first within a single firehose of content.
#
[fluffy]
And also just being able to separate out different post types. Like I don’t need to see everyone’s microblog status updates but I do want to see longer journal posts.

This and [jacky] and jamietanna's posts/interests about readers reminds me of [tonz]' posts https://www.zylstra.org/blog/2019/06/feed-reading-by-social-distance/ and https://www.zylstra.org/blog/2021/02/revisiting-my-ideal-feed-reader/ which are relevant in this space for brainstorming.
