#[tantek]sad when local restaurant sites die an awkward cert error then JS error death
#[tantek]one of my side hobby want projects is to make a local community run/edited restaurant wiki-like site, like an intersection of Nextdoor & Yelp, with local moderators, and keep the info global read-only obviously so folks visiting can use it
#[tantek]Foursquare could have solved that problem if they wanted to, they already have "superusers" to help edit things
#[tantek]In the short term, I often take a photos of menus of restaurants I visit when it seems like they've updated their menu

#[KevinMarks]I signed up as a Google Local Guide specifically so I could fix search results for local restaurants (who if they have a web link usually have a Facebook one) by adding photos and fixing opening times

#jjuranI didn't sign up as a Guide, but I did report a coffee shop as closed on Google Maps, with photos as proof
