[Michelle_Moore] Hello [snarfed] [chrisaldrich] [tantek]. Now that I almost have Fed Brid.gy working, I am wondering do you all use it exclusively for your Mastodon posting? From what I can tell some may and then I think [chrisaldrich] uses it but reposts with his Mastodon.Social username. What is your Mastodon Fed Brid.gy POSSE strategy?

[tantek] [Michelle_Moore] yes I use BridgyFed exclusively for making my posts visible to Mastodon users. I don't have any separate Mastodon posts or do any "Mastodon posting" as it were. They're "just" posts on my website.

[chrisaldrich] [Michelle_Moore] I'm mostly using Pfefferle's suite of WordPress plugins to make my site look like its own instance these days rather than using BridgyFed though I do syndicate some material to a separate instance and use Bridgy for getting responses back, though I expect to do less of this second pattern in the near future.

[chrisaldrich] Just ran across https://www.movetodon.org/ which has a lovely looking and intuitive interface for logging into Twitter and Mastodon to check your followers if you making a move from Twitter to Mastodon.

[aciccarello] Welp, after only a few days of having instagram atom, my account got flagged for suspicious activity. I wonder if the unfollow thing was related.

[chrisaldrich] I got dinged on Friday night as well and had to verify my account with a code and a photo. I seem to finally be back in with access again this morning. Not sure if there's any direct correlation with the issue and either Instagram atom and/or responses back to my website from my IG account (which I rarely use).

[chrisaldrich] A photo of me holding a sheet of paper with their provided ID number. My wife has had to do that to recover her account at least once in the past after a random hacking incident.
