cambridgeport90 I don't understand though why they decided to write a whole other protocol when there are already so many; AP, Nostr (which rubs me the wrong way in light of their support for micropayments, and how that's focused on cryptocurrencies), and others. Why don't we focus on fixing what's broken with the xisting ones, first?

[snarfed]1 it's ok! the app itself isn't really anything special, the special/new part is the plumbing and the features that will eventually allow, eg very robust migration and centralized indexing, on a federated network
