[tantek] hitting that point in writing a "note post" where it veers from one topic, into another topic *about* why I'm posting about that first topic which actually gets longer than the first topic and now I have decide whether to rip them apart into two posts in sort of a cell division kind of way

[tantek] curious if anyone else has this experience while writing a "short" form post (which could actually be more like medium in length), especially a "long" note post

[tantek] and how you decided when/whether to split such a post into two posts

[tantek] when is something a separate post and when is it merely a brief aside inside another post

[tantek] I'm trying to finish writing the stream of thoughts for the post first, before figuring out if/how to divide it into two posts, and link them subsequently
