# sisoma Could this be relevant to the IndieWeb? Seems to be a project to pull data from social networks, like Reddit, and host it elsewhere, like Lemmy?

# [KevinMarks] you can do that directly with the mp3 file and an <audio> tag with a media fragment eg https://www.kevinmarks.com/hotlinkmp3.html
# [KevinMarks] You could also use WEBVTT to make a chapter track and put the mp3 in a video element, but I haven't tried that for a while so not sure what browser support is like

# LM Anyone have recommendations for indieweb sites with something related to Halloween (but still suitable for younger audiences)? Thanks.

# Loqi 🎃 Halloween is an annual holiday on October 31st that often inspires holiday themes on websites, both personal and corporate https://indieweb.org/Halloween

# [tantek] for anyone coming to border:none tomorrow, note that the hashtag is #bono23 and if you're looking to @-mention, there's https://twitter.com/border_none
# [tantek] a few are also using #bordernone e.g. https://indieweb.social/tags/bordernone

# dmowitz The recent "The Verge" article reminded me of the existence of POSSE. That in combination with SiloRider (https://github.com/ludovicchabant/silorider) motivated me to add some more h-entries on my website. I think I might do that now, let's see how it goes…
# ludovicchabant dmowitz: hah nice! I didn't know anybody else knew about my little project :D Ping me if you run into trouble... so far, without any external feedback, there's a big chance it feels like a "written by myself for myself" sort of thing
# ludovicchabant of note, also, I recently started using it with a wordpress website on which I don't control the theme and markup, so I added the ability to edit the html in memory before it's passed over to the microformats parsing. Basically adding all the h-entry and other classes on the fly via a config file.
# ludovicchabant Oops yeah

# [jamietanna] GWG 👋 Yeah I unfortunately only have so much time for all the things and my current focus has been building dmd.tanna.dev, but I hope to get back to IndieWeb soon, albeit I want to rebuild my website which is a large overwhelming task so :face_with_peeking_eye:
# [snarfed] [Joel_Auterson]++ for shipping Bluesky support in Bridgy (classic)! haven't announced quite yet, still beta testing, but lots of example backfed webmentions on eg https://snarfed.org/2023-10-06_bridgy-fed-status-update-7#comment-2868110
