sandra I wasn't too happy that the AP to AT proto brid.gy was set up to be the only singular instance; it's open source but not easy to fork.

sandra But the new opt-in system might be a route to solving that? Since people have to opt in, they can opt in to their favorite instance of the bridge, is what I'm thinking.

[Joe_Crawford] Yeah, missed the mark… I’ve seen multiple criticisms of it around the web. I loved David Letterman’s bits crushing things with a press back in the day but to make it a commercial is weird. I’ve not seen commercial yet. I did see their wayfinding/cosplay one and it was charming though.

capjamesg [tantek] That ad feels insensitive. I have seen a lot of criticism about it. I liked the embedded argument in that guide about how craftspeople value their tools. That ad is the destruction of those tools.
