[artlung]Any utility of a social network is about connecting to people or particular content. Like, I met [gRegorLove] on Twitter at one point. But these days X sucks. Bluesky and Mastodon have some solid creators. I also use other silos for other folks.

[morganm]The silo quitting thing feels weird in my experience when talking with less technical people. Like its almost normal to be in tech and have quit or want to quit many of these services. Almost everyone has decided their stance on social media or current levels of tolerance, I can imagine blogging about it for the benefit of some of my other tech friends but it just feels insular somehow.
