LoqiBecause there is as broad an array of types of websites as there are people, a motivating personal factor for joining the IndieWeb may entail a particular use case one has in mind for what they want to do online or how they'd like to interact with others https://indieweb.org/use_case
cupparex[tantek]: Once I get things fully implemented and get all my notes organized, I'd love to write some stuff from the perspective of a newcomer to the space. And I plan to help with broken links since I like playing wiki page roulette lol
hacdiasHi! My website's domain seems to have gotten blocked by https://news.indieweb.org/en - is there a reason for it? I've just noticed now, but it probably happened around May.
cupparex@tantek the information on profile templates is on the wikifying page, but it took me 5 forevers to locate that information. Is there a way to make a profile template page that points to the wikifying section or would moving that information to a profile template page be better? User experience wise this is what happened. I went to make my profile and I had never done anything related to a wiki. I remembered seeing something about
cupparex(and by wikifying section, I mean the section discussing templates on the wikifying page) When I read that part back it felt weird so just clarifying what I meant
cupparexwhat's the best practice for a sparkline name for the wiki? Chat Name or my name (since that's also my main blog name) I've seen it both ways and community wise, is there a preference?
[Murray]I don't think there's a strong preference either way, as you say both are common. I typically use(d) my chat name, as I felt it kept things internally consistent within the Wiki itself, but either is fine 🙂
